After defining our need, we started searching for existing solutions in the market in the sleep industry. We were exposed to a whole world of solutions in the field, such as wearable solutions, light tech solutions, digital solutions, bed accessories , monitoring and/or sensor solutions and more.
We decided to place our market research findings on two axes:
- Physical solution vs tech solution
- High tech vs low tech

We discovered that the most effective treatment for insomnia is CBT-I (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia). In addition to the classic form of CBT which is performed by certified specialists, another form of digital CBT-I evolved. There are a few dCBT-I solutions in our diagram, such as Sleepio, Dreem, CBT-I app and Lyla sleep app.
